Bedford Man Arrested On Felony Child Pornography Charges

(BEDFORD) – A criminal investigation led officers to find probable cause to arrest a Bedford man Thursday on possession of child pornography.


After a search warrant was executed, police arrested 32-year-old Kevin MT Edwards on 10 felony counts of possession of child pornography. He is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $755 bond.

Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit Task Force members executed the search warrant after initiating an investigation following a cyber tip report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Assisting in the investigation were members of the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit; ISP’s Cyber Crimes Unit; ICAC Task Force, which included Martinsville Police Department Deputy Chief Lachelle Maurer, Bloomington Police Department Detective Jacob Hunter, and Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Greg Hagan.
