(BLOOMINGTON) – A fire damaged the member services building at Indiana University’s Sembower Recreational Sports Field Complex, Wednesday morning.
The Bloomington Fire Department found that a faulty part of the lights in the building created a spark which caught some paint on fire.
The building, at Fee Lane and 17th Street near Forster Quad, contains restrooms, lockers, and water bottle fill stations and is on the south side of the complex near the sports playing fields. The playing fields were not damaged.
Recreational sports staff will set up a Member Services hub so clubs and intramural sports can continue Monday.
