Laura K. Merriman, 47, passed away in the presence of her family on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
She leaves behind her parents, Ken and Sue Merriman; two sisters, Barbara and Tamara Merriman; nieces and
nephews she loved to spoil. She also leaves her partner in life, Doug Unger, who considers Laura the best chapter of
his life story and many friends whom she knew to be family.
Laura was one of those rare individuals who lived many lives in one lifetime. We know she is off to her next
adventure. Though she will be missed, we are comforted to know she made it to her final destination. Laura is
reunited with her grandparents, niece, cousins, and our Lord in heaven.
A celebration of life service will be held to honor Laura’s memory on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to any animal shelter of your choice.
