(SPRINGVILLE) – Firefighters from Perry and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire at 270 Red Hill Addition at 10:07 a.m. this morning.
According to Perry VFD Chief Jeff Long firefighters had to help a handicapped person out of the house.
Chief Long says the fire started in the attic of a bathroom.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire out quickly and reported to dispatch the fire was out at 10:46 a.m.
Firefighters left the scene at 11:11 a.m.
