(BEDFORD) – A Williams woman was arrested Saturday morning after Bedford Police officers were requested to Subway on 16th Street after a report of a suspicious female sitting in a white car in the parking lot.
When officers arrived they spoke to 22-year-old Brooke Smith who they say showed the usual signs of intoxication.
“Officer also noticed erratic movements and unusual movements with her face and mouth,” says Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore. “When Brooke was asked to open her mouth officers noticed her mouth/tongue to be dry, but also had white and blue residue on it.”
Smith was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
