  • 5:33 a.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block fo Crawford Street. An 84-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 6:53 a.m. 911 call reporting a medical emergency in the 10500 block of West Highway 825 North. A woman who has brain cancer is getting blood clots out of her nose
  • 8:37 a.m. Alarm sounding at the Wesleyan Church in Mitchell. It was a false alarm
  • 9:23 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 6260 block fo State Road 158
  • 10:04 a.m. Lift assist in the 60 block of Eastside Lane. Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 10:18 a.m. Controlled fire in the 980 block of Porter Burton Road
  • 10:20 a.m. 911 call reporting an erratic driver in a red Jeep on US 50 East near Jiffy Treet. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 10:31 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Grand Prix northbound on State Road 37 from the river bridge
  • 11:44 a.m. Unwanted person in the 1170 block of Camelot Courts. The caller says her mother’s caregiver and another family member is on the property and tried to run her over with a gray Trailblazer and she wants to speak to an officer
  • 12:28 p.m. Medical emergency in the 340 block of Bartlett Drive. A 54-year-old female was unconscious and not responding but breathing
  • 12:47 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1210 block of Pete Pritchett Lane
  • 1:05 p.m. Controlled fire in the 5650 block of State Road 54 West
  • 4:43 p.m. Traffic stop at Washboard and North Pike roads
  • 4:57 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 1170 block of Camelot Courts
  • 5 p.m. County-wide volunteer fire department radio test
  • 5:22 p.m. Vandalism in the 1390 block of Harrodsburg Road. The caller says a short time ago there was a silver/gray Silverado pickup in the neighbor’s drive and when he returned he found his mailbox and several others damaged. Deputies will make extra patrols
  • 5:23 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 6260 block of State Road 158
  • 5:38 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1690 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 6:21 p.m. Medical emergency in the 540 block of 9th Street in Mitchell. A 47-year-old female was feeling bad because of her high-blood pressure
  • 6:38 p.m. Traffic stop in the 3150 block of State Road 37
  • 7:20 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1270 block of Greer Lane. A 79-Year-old female fell and struck her head
  • 7:28 p.m. A female in the 630 block of South Seventh Street reported they were receiving messages from her bother that he is going to commit suicide
  • 7:37 p.m. Request of a welfare check in the 1300 block of Liberty Church Road. A male was sending messages to his sister that he was going to commit suicide
  • 7:43 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white van southbound on State Road 37 and US 50 West. The van turned onto Old State Road 37 and then into Hickory Heights and parked
  • 7:44 p.m. A woman in the 940 block of Elkins Road asked if she should sign up for AARP if she already had Medicare. The dispatcher told her this was not something they could help her with. The woman got angry and hung up on the dispatcher
  • 8:06 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 560 block of Harold Smith Road. The caller says she heard someone in her house but hasn’t seen anyone. She says it happened over the weekend and that this person is stealing her Rubbermaid containers.
  • 8:11 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 500 block of Sunny Acres Drive
  • 8:24 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 30 block of Eastbrook Lane
  • 9:03 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54 and Greer Lane
  • 9:23 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Riverview Addition Road
  • 9:55 p.m. Domestic fight in the 210 block of East Vine Street. The caller says her mother had hit her and is driving around drunk in a maroon car
  • 10:09 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols at the Dollar General Store on US 50 after a suspicious male came into the store earlier to buy cigarettes. The male had been caught shoplifting in the store before
  • 10:37 p.m. Request for an officer to IU Health Bedford for involuntary committal to IU Health Bloomington Hospital. The officer transported the woman to IU Health Bloomington Hospital
  • 11:24 p.m. Warrant service at 4th and Warren streets
  • 11:38 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road
  • 11:38 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 West and the fairgrounds
  • 11:59 p.m. Report of an unwanted person in the first block of Spice Valley Road
