(BLOOMINGTON) – An Indiana University sophomore was arrested after admitting he secretly filmed his two female roommates naked.
Bloomington Police arrested 20-year-old Tyler Best at his East Varsity Lane Apartment on Monday on two counts of voyeurism.
The females, both 19, came to Bloomington Police this week with concerns about Best.
They told investigators that a package from China labeled “mini pen hidden DVR camera,” had arrived for Best.
According to a probable cause affidavit, in October, one of the females told police she had found a camera hidden behind her bedroom door. But police were unable to get a hold of Best to question him about his possible involvement.
According to police, Best at first admitted to using a camera for “security reasons,” but then later changed his story and said he had placed a camera in each of the female’s bedrooms without their knowledge and had recorded them when they were nude.
