  • 11:19 p.m. School Resource Officers at Bedford North Lawrence High School reported two 14-year-old were issued citations for possession of a tobacco product

  • 1:32 p.m. Kimberly Scott, 37,Heltonville, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear
  • 5:01 p.m. Richard Johnson, 47, 307 Farmer St., resisting arrest, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 8:37 p.m. Justin Terrell, 34, Mitchell, Dealing meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of a controlled substance

  • 5:02 a.m. Medical emergency at McDonald’s on State Road 37 in Mitchell. A pregnant female had passed out
  • 06:09 a.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Eastlake
  • 6:52 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary School
  • 8:14 a.m. Medical alarm sounding in the 750 block of Mill Creek Road
  • 8:18 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1810 block of Port Williams Road for the neighbor’s dog running loose
  • 8:39 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Leesville
  • 8:41 a.m. Traffic stop at Todd Lane, off of Bartlettsville Road. Dennis Smith, 69, Beltonville, was issued a citation for speeding
  • 8:47 a.m. Traffic stop at Old US 50 East and Leesville Road
  • 8:52 a.m. Follow-up investigation at Susie’s Place
  • 9:10 a.m. Traffic stop at Leesville Road, south of the store
  • 9:23 a.m. Traffic stop at Bartlettsville Road and Younger Road. Breston Sowders, 24, of Norman, was issued a citation for speeding
  • 9:44 a.m. Traffic stop at Younger and Bartlettsville Road
  • 9:57 a.m. Traffic stop at Bartlettsville Road and Todd Lane. Police issued Tina Waggoner, 50, of Oolitic, a citation for speeding
  • 9:47 a.m. Firefighters were searching for a missing teen in a staging area at State Road 60 at Springmill Veterinarian Service. They were looking for a 15-year-old male last seen wearing gray and blue shorts and orange and black sweatshirt. A drone was used to search for the teen. Orange County Police was alerted to check the railroad tracks between Orleans and Mitchell
  • 9:47 a.m. Controlled fire on Grandma Brown Road
  • 10:29 a.m. Request for animal control to the 550 block of Dawn Lane after a dispute between neighbors over a dog
  • 11:47 a.m. Medical emergency in the 900 block of Curry Street. A person was suffering from high blood pressure
  • 11:55 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2620 block of Industrial Drive. A person was suffering a possible stroke
  • 11:57 a.m. Report of illegal burning in the 360 block of South Leatherwood Road
  • 12:03 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1310 block of 24th Street
  • 12:45 p.m. Report of a mobile home fire in the 750 block fo Mill Creek Road. The home was fully involved when firefighters arrived. Red Cross was contacted
  • 1:12 p.m. Controlled fire in the 670 block of East Boyd Lane
  • 1:16 p.m. Request for animal control to the 40 block of Old Buddha Road. The animal was taken to the shelter
  • 1:41 p.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville Road and Diana Street
  • 1:43 p.m. Request for animal control to Bud Stipp and Pinhook roads for an injured German Shepherd along the side of the roadway. Animal control checked the area and could not find the dog
  • 2:39 p.m. Report of harassment in the 440 block of Hel Mar Drive. The caller says a female is harassing her via text messages and Facebook
  • 2:58 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 6260 block of State Road 158. A male was knocking on a woman’s bedroom and the caller is requesting to speak to an officer. Officers spoke to the male who said the woman had agreed to give him some eggs. The caller says that is false. The male was told not to return to the property
  • 3:22 p.m. Repossession in the 4630 Port Williams Road
  • 3:28 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Patton Hill Road and Vista Drive
  • 3:31 p.m. Traffic stop at North Fifth Street and Hancock Avenue
  • 3:40 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell Manor. A person was suffering a possible heart attack
  • 3:44 p.m. Citizen assist. The caller in Bloomington asked to speak to an officer about a protective order
  • 3:59 p.m. Traffic stop in the 45 block of Teke Burton Drive
  • 4:05 p.m. A woman in the 11880 block of US 50 reported her ex-husband has violated their court order to drop the children off at Speedway on Wednesday afternoon and she had to go to Mitchell to pick the children up
  • 4:14 p.m. Threats in the 460 block of East Vine Street. The caller says the neighbor behind her home is making threats to burn down her trailer and kill her and she would like to speak to an officer and request extra patrols
  • 4:41 p.m. Controlled fire in the 310 block of Woodville Road
  • 5:01 p.m. Report of an unwanted male at a home in the 220 block of Treslar Street causing problems with the caller’s daughter and may have hit her. The female told police she was fine and was not injured and there was no problem. When police arrived the male jumped out a window and was running towards East Oolitic
  • 5:31 p.m. Warrant service in the 700 block of South Mississippi Avenue
  • 5:33 p.m. Request for animal control to the 230 block of Greenhill Addition. The caller say her dog has bitten her in the past and today and has turned on everyone in the home. The dog was taken to the shelter
  • 5:44 p.m. Traffic stop at South Seventh Street and West Grissom Avenue
  • 6:07 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 and Fleenor Road
  • 8:20 p.m. Domestic fight in the 650 block of Vinegar Hill Road. The female says her grandfather is refusing to let her leave with a juvenile who she is taking home
  • 8:16 p.m. Domestic fight in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue in Oolitic. The caller says her boyfriend attempted to drag her out of the home. The woman says it happened a few weeks ago. The woman was taken to Oolitic Town Hall
  • 6:40 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white semi southbound on State Road 37 at Fifth Street
  • 6:43 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue
  • 7:08 p.m. Medical emergency at State Road 158 and Western Avenue. A person was suffering chest pains
  • 7:19 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 & Main Street.
  • 7:20 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1200 block of Reuter Lane. It was a false alarm
  • 7:29 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 720 block of S Street
  • 7:34 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 300 block of Wells Avenue. The male says the woman is pacing and talking to herself and he believes she is on or coming down off some drug. He does not feel safe with her in the home. The female was given a ride to a home in the 750 block of Mill Creek Road. While talking to the female she told police she had set her parent’s home on fire on Mill Creek Road
  • 8:45 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols in Tunnelton
  • 8:48 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle in the 400 block of East Hancock Avenue
  • 9:08 p.m. Agency assist in the 100 block of Dale Street
  • 10:16 p.m. Deputies did extra patrols at Storage Express

Incidents – Feb. 28

  • 12:08 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
  • 12:50 a.m. Deputies were out with a vehicle on Avoca Eureka Road and State Road 158. The vehicle was tagged for towing
  • 1:14 a.m. Traffic stop in the 1110 block of James Avenue
  • 4:39 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of West Grissom Avenue. The caller reported there was three male inside his home with ball bats. They were looking for someone. They then left and were headed south on 4th Street in a black SUV

  • 7:35 a.m. Car/deer accident on State Road 58 and County Road 975 East in Greene County
  • 8:45 p.m. Property damage accident on Stars Boulevard, south of BNL
  • 9:34 p.m. Property damage accident in the 520 block of West Frank Street
