Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch To Celebrate Its 2nd Founders’ Day On March 14

(BRAZIL) – Indiana Sheriffs and deputies will host a March 14 public hard-hat tour of their Youth Ranch, under development in West Central Indiana for future law enforcement officers, at-risk kids, young witnesses and victims of crime.

A briefing and walk-through will be part of the statewide not-for-profit’s second annual Founders’ Day celebration.
This year’s noontime event will be hosted on-site, 5325 N. State Road 59, in Brazil Ind.

Students, parents, grandparents and law enforcement are welcome to the free event, which will include a traditional BBQ chuckwagon lunch and announcements from some major supporters about progress at the 62-acre training retreat:
A public signing of a long-term lease for the on-site K-9 academy, a repurposed veterinary clinic to be used by sheriffs, police and other public safety agencies;
A new, national service dog program run in-part by Youth Ranchers and benefitting wounded military and law enforcement; and
Real estate purchases – without the use of tax dollars – allowing 2019 groundbreakings on cabins, trails and recreation areas.
Seating for the Youth Ranch Founders’ Day is limited. RSVPs are required by calling 317-755-3602.
