Indiana Department Of Education Hosts Awards For Excellence Recognition Program

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Department of Education today hosted its annual Awards for Excellence recognition program. The event celebrates accomplished students, programs, and business partnerships in Career and Technical Education (CTE) throughout the state.

“Participation in Career and Technical Education provides students more opportunities for future endeavors,” said Dr. Jennifer McCormick, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction. “Thank you to those being recognized for their support and dedication to creating successful CTE environments for Indiana’s students.”
Now in its 35th year, the Awards for Excellence ceremony recognizes those who have made a difference in the world of CTE. Those awarded are selected from among top CTE programs in the state, as judged by college administrators, education officials, and business and industry partners. This year, 43 CTE students, programs, and partnerships, both high school and college, were recognized at the event.
