(BEDFORD) – Stacie Ratliff has been appointed as the Guthrie Township Trustee by the Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman.
Ratliff replaces Robert Awbrey, who submitted his resignation.
Ratliff will serve out the remaining 4-year term of Awbrey’s. She was the Guthrie Township Advisory Board President.
The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will hold a special caucus Friday, March 22 to fill Ratliff’s vacancy on the Guthrie Township Advisory Board.
The caucus will be at 6 p.m. at Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department at 1325 Sunny Acres Drive in Bedford.
Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5 found on the Secretary of State website at http://www.in.gov/sos/ and at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office) and submit a letter of interest to Chairman Chris May no later than 72 hours before the caucus.
Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office.
No candidacy forms will be accepted after the deadline. All forms are available online at the Indiana Secretary of State website and the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office.
