Wesley Matthews Signs With Pacers

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Pacers start the second-half of their six-game homestand tonight with a new teammate as they welcome the Charlotte Hornets to the Fieldhouse.

Guard Wesley Matthews officially signed with Indiana on Sunday and will make his debut with the team tonight.
The 32-year old appeared in 45 games this season, including 44 starts for the Dallas Mavericks and playing in one game with the New York Knicks.
Dallas traded him to New York as part of the blockbuster Kristaps Porzingis trade and then was waived by the Knicks last Thursday.
He is averaging 12.8 points per game this season and is shooting over 38-percent from 3-point range.
“I was really attracted to the style of play–how they always carry themselves,” Matthews said as to why he decided to sign with the Pacers.
The Pacers and Hornets tip-off at 7pm EST.
