(SPRINGVILLE) – Amy Voorhies has been appointed to the Perry Township Advisory Board by the Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman.
Voorhies replaces Dennis Godsey, who announced his resignation. She was the only Republican candidate in good standing who submitted a letter of interest no later than 72 hours before the scheduled caucus.
The caucus scheduled for Thursday evening has been canceled.
Also, the caucus scheduled for the Guthrie Township Trustee positioned has been canceled. The appointment will come at a later date.
