Liberty Love Food Pantry Now Opened In Sellersburg

(SELLERSBURG) – Liberty Loves Food Pantry sponsored by the Libertarian Party of Clark County opened at the party’s headquarters at 102 N. Indiana Ave., Sellersburg on Saturday, Jan. 12.

Non-perishable food items were given to Clark County individuals and families reporting income at or below 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines. The pantry will continue to be open from 11 am – 1pm on the second Saturday of every month. Days and hours may expand depending on response. Participants are asked to bring identification.
“This is a way for us to live our principles by helping serve our neighbors directly and voluntarily rather than relying on a government agency to do it for us,” Russell Brooksbank, party vice chair said.
Donations and volunteers are welcome. For more information on volunteering, donating or receiving food, please contact Liberty Loves Food Pantry Committee Chairman Arthur Ritchings at 502-644-8915 or via email at Arthur.Ritchings16@gmail.com.
