Purdue Extension Annual Meeting January 30

(BEDFORD) – Purdue Extension-Lawrence County will be hosting a Lunch-n-Learn on Wednesday, January 30, from 12-1:15 p.m. at the Milwaukee Depot located at the corner of 14th and J streets in Bedford.


There is no charge for this event. Lunch will include soup, sandwiches, and dessert
This year’s event will focus on what “Extension Does” in our community and how we might partner in making a larger impact on our residents’ lives.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the different program areas within Extension which include 4-H and Youth Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health and Human Sciences, Nutrition Education, and Community Wellness. Attendees will hear from those impacted by our programs and have the opportunity to interact with staff members.
County Extension Director, Lesley Lodmell, says, “A lot has changed at Purdue Extension in the past few years. This event is your chance to find out what we are doing in the community and connect. We want to know how we can help local residents and how we can collaborate with local organizations to make Lawrence County stronger.”
