Five Washington Residents Arrested On Drug Charges

(WASHINGTON) – Five Washington residents were arrested on Monday as part of a Washington City Police and Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force investigation.


Nine search warrants were executed at 6:30 a.m. all related to the distribution of marijuana.

Four of the warrants were served in Washington, where police confiscated four pounds of pot, a handgun, 190 pills of a Schedule 4 controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and more than $7,000 in cash.
Arrested on charges of dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance were 23-year-old Ethan Emmons, 23-year-old Elizabeth Myers, and 24-year-old Jonathan Garcia.
Emmons and Myers were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested were 23-year-old Heather Garcia and 22-year-old Tyeesha Jones on charges of possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.
Several law enforcement agencies assisted including; The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Petersburg Police, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, Police in Evansville Terre Haute and Bloomington and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.
