6:02 a.m. Lift assist in the 10 block of Lakeside Estates
7 a.m. Lift assist in the 120 block of West Grissom Avenue. A man had fallen out of his chair
7:24 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary School
7:51 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at Williams Dam. The vehicle had been parked there for three days. Deputies contacted the owner who stated it was broke down and will be removing it today
4:17 a.m. Report of a semi hauling propane tanks on State Road 60 East and the tanks are falling off the truck
9:12 a.m. Request for animal control to the 130 block of Vinegar Hill Road to check on dogs without shelter
9:08 a.m. Request for animal control to Rariden Hill Road and Cassidy Lane for three stray dogs running loose
9:15 a.m. Medical emergency in the 190 block of South Leatherwood Road. A 43-year-old male fell on the

12:51 a.m. Report of a missing 86-year-old female in the 370 block of Anderson Road. She was last seen headed toward Gasline Road and been gone about five to 10 minutes. The female was located by an ambulance crew at 1:09 p.m. walking along the road. She picked up and transported home then transported to IU Bloomington Hospital for a medical evaluation
1:29 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 1420 block of I Street
1:34 p.m. Child custody investigation at a home on Rariden Hill. At 3:50 p.m. a female was on station with the custody agreement
2:51 p.m. Request to assist Department of Child Services at Mitchell High School to pick up children
2:56 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1420 block of I Street
3:13 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 north of Stevens Lane
3:14 p.m. A resident in the 50 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road reported an IRS number called her claiming that an officer would come and arrest her. The resident attempted to call the number back and it returned to a Google Play number
3:18 p.m. Lift assist in the 120 block of West Grissom Avenue. An AMR ambulance crew requested an officer respond because of the number of times they have been at the home today

3:55 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a dark colored truck pulling a late model Ford northbound on State Road 37 from the Oolitic light

4:39 p.m. Lift assist in the 1070 block of Sugar Hill. An 82-year-old male had fallen and can’t get up
4:58 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 40 block of Heltonville Road. The caller says their neighbor had put spikes in his driveway and his son’s girlfriend drove over them flattening her tires. The caller who is not home is afraid his son and the neighbor will get into a confrontation and needs an officer to respond to the home
5:24 p.m. Traffic stop at North 10th and West Main streets
5:35 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a commercial Dodge van northbound on State Road 37 near Crossroads Church
5:50 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station
6:33 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell Manor. The caller reported his hand is bleeding and needs to go to the hospital
6:42 p.m. Request for a welfare check on State Road 37 near Salt Creek bridge for a person in a light-colored blanket walking northbound on State Road 37. At 6:50 p.m. dispatch received a text message saying the person was between 5th Street and the bridge walking northbound. At 6:58 p.m. dispatch received a message saying the person was just south of the Oolitic turn off in the northbound lane. At 7:09 p.m. the person was one mile south of Oolitic. Police were unable to find anyone on the side of the road
7:12 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road

8:21 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 540 block of 9th Street. The callers say people are knocking on her door and running away

10:58 p.m. Deputies assisted Indiana State Police at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
11:10 p.m. Request for a welfare check at a home in the 150 block of Denson Street. The caller says he received information that his son had been hit and another male had him on the floor and was pulling his hair and her brother could not breath and his face was all red. Police responded and found no problem and told the daughter next time there is a problem to dial 911

  • 12:56 a.m. Burglary in the 10 block of Locksley Court. Someone had got into the safe and stolen her husband’s Percocet and bullets from a 9 m.m. and her 16-year-old son’s wallet and title to a vehicle
  • 1:17 a.m. Medical emergency in the 400 block of East Hancock Avenue. A 94-year-old male was ill
  • 2:23 a.m. Traffic stop in the 300 block of Main Street in Oolitic
  • 2:31 a.m. Medical emergency in the 190 block of South Leatherwood Road. A 43-year-old had fallen
  • 2:40 a.m. Deputies were out with a vehicle in the 100 block of US 50 across from Lawrence County Hydraulics
  • 2:49 a.m. Lift assist in the 7660 block of State Road 158. A 63-year-old male was needing assists
  • 4:28 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 5000 block of State Road 37 at Crossroads Church. The building was secure
  • 4:38 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1220 block of 14th Street. A person was suffering chest pains
