Thief Falls Out Window of Zeta Beta Tau House

(BLOOMINGTON) – An IU student was arrested after he stole a hockey jersey and then fell out of a second-story window Monday at the Zeta Beta Tau house.

According to IU Police, 21-year-old Sergio Aguilar was arrested on a charge of theft.
On Monday the fraternity was having a large event when Aguilar who was not on the guest list entered the home.
Police responded to the fraternity house after receiving a call around 5 p.m.
Aguilar had also called 911 requesting an ambulance. Capt. Craig Munroe says Aguilar was intoxicated, disoriented and was complaining of back pain.
When police arrived they spoke to a man who said Aguilar had stolen his hockey jersey and then fell out of his bedroom window.
The man told police he didn’t know Aguilar had been in his room.
But Aguilar told police he was pushed out of the window.
Others at the fraternity said no one pushed Aguilar, but that he had either fell or jumped after stealing the jersey.
Aguilar was transported to the hospital and was treated for fractures in his lower back. He was then taken to jail on the preliminary charge of theft.
