More Snow Possible For Surrounding Counties

(BEDFORD) – The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Lawrence, Greene, Monroe, Jackson, Jennings, Decatur, Bartholomew and Brown counties.


Including the cities of Sullivan, Linton, Bloomfield, Bloomington, Nashville, Columbus, Greensburg, Vincennes,
Washington, Loogootee, Shoals, Bedford, Mitchell, Seymour, Brownstown, and North Vernon
At 3:52 a.m. this morning the weather service reported a strong storm system will move through the Ohio Valley Saturday spreading precipitation across Central Indiana. Rain is expected to begin overnight across southern Central Indiana and may mix with some freezing rain before changing over to snow on Saturday afternoon.
One to Three inches of snow will be possible by late Saturday afternoon, along with light icing. This will result in slick
roads and surfaces across southern parts of Central Indiana on Saturday afternoon.
