Pacers Blast Suns 131-97

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Pacers were electric in their first home game of 2019 as they blasted the Phoenix Suns 131-97.

Bojan Bogdanovic and Tyreke Evans each had 20 points while Myles Turner returned to action after a four game absence and added 18. Bogdanovic scored the Pacers’ first 10 points of the game as Indiana led by as much as 37 points and never trailed in the game.
“We’ve proven we can beat team like Phoenix before,” Victor Oladipo said. “The next step is winning against really good teams–the Raptors, Milwaukee, Celtics, Golden State. That’s the next step, beating those teams consistently.”
The Pacers will get a crack at one of the “really good teams” on Thursday when the Philadelphia 76ers come to town for a nationally-televised matchup.
