(BEDFORD) – The final portion of Bedford’s downtown facade renovation project is nearing completion, according to Marla Jones, Business and Community Development Director.
The project is improving the facades on buildings around the square including the Atrium Dental Center building at 1515 J Street.
Jones was excited about the project completion, in addition to other elements of the Stellar Community Project, which was awarded to the city in 2014.

Other portions of the grant-funded renovations include the Streetscape Project for improvements of sidewalks, railings and improved access to businesses around the square.
Jones indicated that the Milwaukee Depot relocation and renovation was also part of the Stellar Community Project.
