Orange County Man Not Injured After Tractor-Trailer Flips

(DUBOIS CO.) – A semi truck and trailer turnover partially closed State Road 56 just east of Dubois Road for about three hours Thursday morning.

According to a Dubois County Sheriff’s Department report, 51-year-old Larry Thomas, of Orange County, was traveling westbound on State Road 56 in a 1989 Peterbilt tractor and trailer hauling a load of corn and had exited a curve when the tractor-trailer turned over, went off the roadway, and struck a utility pole.
Thomas was able to exit the vehicle and was not injured.
Police believe the corn shifted in the trailer causing the crash.
