  • 2:26 p.m. Carrie Smith, 56, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, OWI, legend drug deception, possession of a legend drug
  • 1:15 a.m. Shawn Stiles, 38, Dixie Highway, criminal conversion, driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction

  • 11:45 p.m. Brent Rainey, 58, Williams, wanted on warrants for criminal confinement, interfering with a 911 call, domestic battery.

Incidents – Jan. 6

  • 8:38 a.m. Controlled fire in the 1100 block of Mill Creek Road
  • 9:18 a.m. Domestic fight in the 50 block of Maddox Lane. The caller says her brother has struck her. The female was given a ride to a home on White Lane
  • 10:13 a.m. Medical emergency in the 380 block of HelMar Drive. A 67-year-old female is unconscious
  • 11:31 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1530 block of Old Farm Road. The caller says his neighbor’s dog was again in their yard
  • 11:44 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 12 p.m. Vandalism in the first block of Meadow Moore Way. The caller says someone tried to break into their vehicle
  • 12:13 p.m. Request for animal control in the 1000 block of West Brook Street. The caller says her cat has been missing for several days and she has found it locked in a shed behind the dentist office
  • 12:23 p.m. Officers assisted Child Services at a home in the 3130 block of Coveyville Road
  • 12:50 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1850 block of West Powerline Road. It was a false alarm
  • 1:39 p.m. Disabled vehicle at Coveyville Road near Donica Church Road
  • 2:23 p.m. Medical emergency in the 520 block of Trinton Circle. A 72-year-old female was ill
  • 2:25 p.m. Threats in the 720 block of Spencer Pike Road. The caller says his son has threatened him and is trying to fight him. The son has left the home, but the caller does not want him to return
  • 2:58 p.m. Controlled fire in the 4610 block of Judah Logan Road
  • 4:06 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male in the 600 block of North 8th Street. The male was given a ride to his home at Elm Park
  • 4:25 p.m. Medical emergency in the 20 block of Teke Burton Drive. A person was suffering a seizure
  • 4:37 p.m. Unwanted male in the 320 block of West Grissom Avenue. The caller says her daughter and her new boyfriend are beating on her front door
  • 4:48 p.m. Request for animal control to Sieboldt Quarry Road for a cow in the roadway
  • 4:54 p.m. Lift assist in the 520 block of Trinton Circle
  • 5 p.m. County-wide volunteer fire department radio test
  • 5:51 p.m. Trespassing in the 980 block of Coxton Road

  • 6:01 p.m. Medical emergency in the 530 block of Southridge Drive. An 82-year-old female fell and is injured

  • 7:10 p.m. 911 call reporting a possible impaired driver in a Chevrolet Silverado southbound on State Road 37 at Fifth Street

  • 7:45 p.m. Noise complaint in the 170 block of Rabbitsville Road
  • 8:58 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60 West
  • 9:29 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4410 block of Leesville Road
  • 9:35 p.m. Officers made extra patrol in the 1140 block of Main Street in Mitchell
  • 9:49 p.m. Medical emergency in the 100 block of 4th Street in Oolitic. A 24-year-old male is having trouble breathing
  • 9:53 p.m. Domestic fight at Lakeside Estates. The caller says a 23-year-old male is out of control
  • 10:25 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1090 block of Avoca Eureka Road
  • 11:38 p.m. 911 call reporting a medical emergency in the 3580 block of Tunnelton Road. A male had fallen and hurt his back and she would be taking him to the hospital. The caller then hung up. Police called both hospitals and the male never arrived. Police attempted to call back the call and found the male decided not to go to the hospital

Incidents – Jan. 7

  • 12:03 a.m. Report of shots fired in the 2380 block of Spice Valley Road. The caller says they are being chased by a person in Nissan Altima. They are in a blue Lincoln. They were at a person’s house and were being shot at while driving. They have shot out the back window of their vehicle. Police had three people detained. A male and female were given courtesy rides home
  • 12:48 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1260 block of Judah Logan Road. Indiana State Police responded
  • 3:18 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 210 block of Frank Street at Mitchell Wesleyan Church
  • 5:06 a.m. Medical emergency in the 5550 block of State Road 446. A 79-year-old female was suffering from stomach pain
