(GUTHRIE) – The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will hold a special caucus Thursday, February 7th to fill the vacancy of Guthrie Township Trustee created by the resignation of Robert Awbrey effective December 31, 2018.
The caucus will be at 6 p.m. at 1327 Sunny Acres Drive, Bedford at Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department.
Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5 found on the Secretary of State website at http://www.in.gov/sos/ and at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office) and submit a letter of interest to Chairman Chris May no later than 72 hours before the caucus. Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office.
No candidacy forms will be accepted after the deadline.
All forms are available online at the Indiana Secretary of State website and the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office.
