Janice Kay King, 78, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at her residence.
Born July 29, 1940, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ralph Earl and Eva Louise (Mikels) Meadows. She married Robert H. King March 23, 1957, and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2015.
Janice had been employed at RCA and was the manager at Elm Park Apartments. She was a member of the Bedford Free Methodist Church and attended New Hope Christian Church in Paoli. She had been a member of the Bedford Bowling League and enjoyed going to French Lick and the casino.
Survivors include her children, Sherrie Egan of Mitchell, Robert Earl (Gretchen) King of Mitchell, grandchildren, Kayla (Brandon) Hall, Abraham King, Lorelai King, Paul (Elisha) Lawyer, Michael (Amanda) Lawyer, great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Hall, Ellie Rae Hall; several other great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Roger Meadows of Gray, Kentucky, Debbie Meadows of Bedford, Rhea Dawn Schaffer of Bloomfield; several nieces and nephews
Her parents; husband; daughter, Teresa Kay Jones; grandson, Timothy Robert Eagan; and brother, Gary Meadows, preceded her in death.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 27, at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Friends may call from noon until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Roanna J. Reynolds, 92, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Mitchell Manor.
Born March 20, 1926, in Rabbitsville, she was the daughter of Dearl Edward and Thelma Lucille (Edwards) Cooper. She married Elgan Reynolds December 16, 1943, and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2006.
Roanna was a homemaker and loved farming. She was of the Christian faith and was a Red Cross Gray Lady. Everyone knew her as a feisty, spunky lady who was always willing to help a neighbor.
Survivors include her children, Connie Ruth Stoll of Loogootee, Dearl C. Reynolds of Mitchell, Elana Reynolds of Mitchell, Michelle Porter of Orleans; grandchildren raised in the home, Jill (Reynolds) Saman of Moorpark, California, Brian Reynolds of Bedford; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Lavon Reynolds of Mitchell, Joyce Trafton of Lakeland, Florida
Her parents; husband; son, Ronald Wayne Reynolds; grandson, Dearl Reynolds II; and siblings, Thelma Connerley, Wayne Cooper, and Archie Cooper, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 25, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Allen Burris officiating. Burial will be in the Talbott Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
