Wanda L. Henson – Bedford
July 14, 1952 – August 10, 2018
Wanda L. Henson, 66, of Bedford, died at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at her residence.
Born July 14, 1952 she was the daughter of Elbert and Geneva (Davis) Hensley. She married James Henson on June 20, 1970 and he survives.
Wanda retired as a supervisor from Cook Inc. She was a member of the East Oolitic Community Church and graduated from clown school and was a semi-professional clown. Wanda loved her Lord and Savior, and was a loving wife, mother, and nana. Anyone whoever met her, loved her.
Surviving with her husband of 48 years are her three children, Jimmy Henson of Commiskey, IN, Cindy Bower and her husband, Mark, of Bedford, Travis Henson of Bloomington; and Laurie Staver of Bedford; grandchildren, Levi Meadows, Bransyn Henson, Braydon Henson, Bryce Bower; step grandchildren, Sami Zollman, Macie Smith Brown and Maddie Smith Turner; two sisters, Marcia Winegar and Sharon Ray, both of Heltonville, IN; three brothers, Brad Hensley of Heltonville, IN, Dennis Hensley and Charles Hensley both of Bedford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Earl Hensley; three nephews, Devin Hensley, Billy Hensley and Brian Ray; brother-in-law, Jerry Henson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville, Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Garold Lee Spoonmore – Bedford
July 3, 1935-August 10, 2018
Garold Lee Spoonmore, 83, pf Bedford, passed away at 10:47 a.m. Friday, August 10th at the I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital with his family by his bedside.
Born July 3, 1935 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Elza Spoonmore and Ona (Harp) Spoonmore. Garold retired from the Indiana DNR Avoca State Hatchery after fifty years. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Gillen Post #33, and Avoca Baptist Church. He loved his grand and great grand babies dearly. Garold married the love of his life, Arretta (Padgett) Spoonmore December 26, 1959 and she survives.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Leaetta Taflinger (Rick) of Avoca, Patricia Franklin (Brian) of Needmore, and Kimberly Helton (Mark Davis) of Ellettsville; six grandchildren, Pamela Harris (Jeff), Nicole Taflinger, Daniel Taflinger (Brianna), Sarah McKinney (Josh), Emily Norman, and Jennifer Stephens (Jordan); twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Cecil and Dale Spoonmore; and a grandson, Michael Phillips.
Visitation will be held at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, August 13th from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Services will be private with burial following in Cresthaven Cemetery.
