Mary Florence Powell – Mitchell

Mary Florence Powell, 89, transitioned to Heaven Saturday, April 14, 2018.
Born September 17, 1928, in Huron, Mary was the daughter of Jesse and Levi (Barlow) Stroud. Mary married Lee Clark Powell July 10, 1948. Plush and Mary were married for 69 years. Mary and Plush are long standing members of Liberty Baptist Church in Lawrence County. Mary worked at Trav-Ler Corporation in Orleans, a radio manufacturing company, before marrying Plush. She then became a homemaker and mother to four sons.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Clark “Plush” Powell of Mitchell; sons, Philip Lynn (Nancy Jo) Powell of Greenwood, Teddy Lee (Jo-Ellen) Powell of Bloomington, Bradley Devin (Malinda) Powell of Mitchell, Danny Kyle (Kimberly Sue) Powell of Mitchell; grandchildren, Ryan Nicholas Powell, Kyle Christopher Powell, Natalie Jo Tritle, Nicole Lee White, Aaron Kyle Powell, Laura Elizabeth Rains, Dason Reed Powell, Tanner Lee Powell; 11 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Amil Harrison Stroud, Ermal Roy Stroud, Helen Louise Sorrells, Vera Ilene Guthrie, David Glenn Stroud, and Jesse Stroud, Jr.; and a great grandson, Reid Nicolas Powell.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Wade Judy officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the church.

Deanna Marie Tuell – Orleans
July 21, 1986 – April 12, 2018
Deanna Marie Tuell, 31, of Orleans, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.
Born July 21, 1986, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Randall Lee and Cathy Maxine (Long) Terry.
Deanna was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, David Randall Scott Tuell of Orleans, Andrew Jacob Lee Tuell of Orleans; siblings Danny (Stacey) Brosamle of Bedford, Charles Long of Bedford, Christine Terry of Bloomington, Georgetta Terry of Paoli and Dustin Bowersox of Linton
Her parents and brother, Randall Terry II, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Spice Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon on Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Franklin Bryant Holt – Bedford

Franklin Bryant Holt, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 2:14 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 surrounded by his family at his residence.
Born May 17, 1939 in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Leo Thomas and Celia May (Covey) Holt. Frank married Ann Anderson on November 30, 1962; and she survives. He retired from Sexton Wilbert Vault Company after 25 years. He was a member of Judah Church of Christ.
He is survived by his Wife, Ann; children, David Bryant(Sharon Newsome) Holt; Kimberly Lynn (Greg) Wright; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Leo (Elaine) Holt, James Russell “George”(Jay) Holt, Dixie Elaine (Edward) Moore, Linda Gayle (John) Davis; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony Dale Holt and a grandson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Anthony Dale Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Judah Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
