Gerald “Hoppy” Keller – Bedford

Gerald “Hoppy” Keller, 95, of Bedford, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Born December 18, 1922 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Eugene and Goldie (Sheetz) Keller. He married Virginia Lucille Chastain on October 19, 1942; she passed away on January 1, 2000. Hoppy was a retired plumber; lifetime member of Pipe Fitter’s Union #136; and a member of the Midtown Church of Christ. Hop was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved watching Steve Kinser and Ryan Newman.
Surviving are his children, Janice Lucille Reynolds, Geraldine (Marvin) Grogan, Jim “Batman” Keller, Ann (John) Ginter, and Nancy (Gary) Martin; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; two grandchildren, Jesse and Julia; brothers and sisters, Paul, Morris, Pete, Kermit, Bill, Nora, Ruth, Loris, and Judy; and special friend, Violet Reynolds.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Paul Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Sharon Lawson – Jasper

Sharon Lawson, 58, of Jasper, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 02, 2018 at 3:30 a.m.
She was born on October 13, 1959, in Peru, Indiana to Alyous and Johnnie (Clark) Spencer. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include, her mother, Johnnie Spencer; her husband, John Mehringer; daughter Crystal Fultz and John Brett, daughter Heather Trentlage and husband Mark; step-son Kris Lawson; eight grandchildren, Hope, Nathan, Kadence, Kaylee, Emma, Maddie, Abigail and Andrew; four brothers, Joe Spencer, Robert Spencer, James Spencer and Alyous Spencer.
No services are planned at this time.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Shoals is in charge of the arrangements.
