Elisabeth (Lisa) Hicks, 81, of Bedford, died at 12:14 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born August 23, 1936 in Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of Philipp and Katerine (Shmidt) Fuhrman. She married
Robert Hicks on July 4, 1956 and he survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Bedford; three daughters, Donna Mathis Bough and husband, Scott, Diana
Batchelor and husband, Andy, all of Bedford, Denise Bullock and husband, Mike, of Brownsburg; seven grandchildren, Lori McIntosh, Jason Mathis, Jennifer Richason, Krista George, Katie Bullock, Leah Bullock, and Nathan Bullock; seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Philipp, Adolph and Reinhold Fuhrman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Peter and Horst Fuhrman, and a son-in- law, Brian Mathis.
Private services are planned. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation.

Tray Stinson – Indianapolis

Tray Stinson, 44, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Community Health Hospital South, Indianapolis.
Born February 9, 1973, in Bedford, he was the son of Troy and Juanita (Ramsey) Stinson. He worked in maintenance at various hotels and retail shops.
Surviving include two sisters, Tarry Hart and Pam Lyons; two brothers, Tory Stinson and Alva Stinson; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Troy Stinson and John Stinson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will be in Mt Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Edith Burton Ramey – Mitchell

Edith Burton Ramey, 94, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born September 11, 1923, in Orleans, she was the daughter of Harry and Julia Delilah (Martin) Burton. She married Roy R. Ramey January 22, 1944, and he preceded her in death November 2, 2015. Edith retired from Public Service Indiana with 31 years of service and was a 1941 graduate of Mitchell High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church and held all offices in the Order of Eastern Star No. 352.
Survivors include her son, Roy “Rick” (Janice) Ramey of Mitchell; daughter, Barbara Ann (Bob) White of Mitchell; grandchildren, Tara LeAnn Ramey, Kimberly Brooke Manning, Troy Matthew Ramey, Julie Ann Ortman; great grandchildren, Kalyn Brooke White, Clayton Royce Manning, Kamdyn Ramey Manning, Victoria Ann Ortman, Joseph Robert Ortman, Olivia Ann Ortman, McKenna Grace Ramey
Her parents; husband; and sister, Mary Katherine Burton, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Brian Bolton officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
