Rex William “Rexy” Pruett, 14, of Campbellsburg, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born January 9, 2004, in Bloomington, he was the son of Rex Earl and Jessica Lee (Hubbard) Pruett. Rex was in the seventh grade at Orleans Junior High School. He enjoyed video games, shooting, swimming, and working outside with the family. He was vivacious and loved riding four wheelers and being outdoors with friends. Rex was a member of Lost River Missionary Baptist Church, and the Salem Full Gospel Outreach.
Survivors include his parents, Jessica Hubbard of Salem; Rex Pruett of Campbellsburg; sisters, Selena Pruett of Campbellsburg; Sabrina Pruett of Campbellsburg; grandmother, Sharon Pruett of Campbellsburg; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his dogs, Max and Minnie
His grandparents, Mac and Tracey Bell and Clifford Pruett, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Johnny E. Henderson and Caleb Tolliver officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Virginia Anne Concannon – Bedford

Virginia Anne Concannon, 91, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born March 20, 1926, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Robert Glenn and Mary Leon (Brock) Richards.
She married William “Stretch” Concannon on October 16, 1948, in Lawrence County, IN; and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1990.
She was a graduate of Bedford High School. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the St. Vincent Altar Society, and a past member of the church choir.
Virginia was a homemaker. She worked as the Parish Secretary at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for eleven years. She then retired from Bedford Medical Center.
Surviving are one daughter, Jane A. Scott and husband Jeffrey, of Bedford; two sons, William Joseph Concannon, of Indianapolis, and Patrick M. Concannon, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Hannah Gregory and Ian Scott; two great-grandchildren, Nica Rose Mosora and Hudson Gregory; one brother, John Richards and wife Gail, of Bedford; sister-in-law, Linda Richards; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Glenn Richards and wife Loretta, and Jimmy Richards; three sisters, Betty Wagner and husband Gib, Jane Hall and husband Hale, and Joan Hornocker, and husband, Harold; niece, Debbie Richards; and nephew, Richard Hornocker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Noon on Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Francis Eckstein and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.. on Thursday at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
