Debra Kay King, 61, of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born August 31, 1956, in Beech Grove, she was the daughter of John Pridemore and Vera (Turner) Bustle. She married Mark Steven King on May 31, 1978, and he preceded her in death July 16, 2016. She had been employed at Carpenter Body Works. Debbie loved music and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. She collected owls and wolves.
Survivors include her children, Shawn (Jamica) King of Mitchell, Shayne (JoAnne) King of Mitchell, Shandi (Joe) Gerkin of Oolitic, Crystal (Joe) Lott of Whiteland, Dustin (Alicia) King of Mitchell; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Brenda Gierke of Indianapolis, Steve Wilson of Heltonville, Gerald Wilson of Kentucky, Roger Turner of Kentucky
Her parents; husband; and brother, Frankie Turner, preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation was chosen with burial at a later date in Port William Cemetery.

Linda Sue Shaw – Radcliff, Ky.
March 13, 1939 – January 6, 2018
Linda Sue Shaw, 78, of Radcliff, Ky., formerly of Shoals, passed away at her home on January 6, 2018.
She was born March 13, 1939 in Shoals, Indiana to Elmer and Virginia (Shipman) Fahr. She married Donald L. Shaw on May 27, 1956 in Shoals and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2014. She graduated from Shoals High School, was a homemaker, member of the Shoals United Methodist Church and a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Holmes and husband Ronald, of Flat Rock, IL.; two sons Donald Shaw II and wife Donna of Eaton, CO., Kent Shaw and wife Robin, of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren, Benjamin Shaw of Ft. Bragg, NC., Mark Shaw, of Springfield VA, Jason Randall, of Radcliff, KY, Shannon Randall, of Radcliff, KY; four great-grandchildren; Kylie Shaw, Aubrey Shaw, Gabrielle Shaw and Christopher Anschutz.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and brother Jerry Fahr.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Paster Marty Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
