Irma Gayle Tincher, 72, of Avoca, died at 2:50 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at I.U. Health Bedford
Hospital.
Born December 26, 1944, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of John and Mildred (Parker) Lee. She married Marion Tincher on June 8, 1962 and he survives. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Irma enjoyed nature and wildlife, especially watching deer, and driving through the countryside during the fall.
Survivors include her husband, Marion, of Avoca; two sons, Brad Tincher and wife, Gayla, Alan Tincher and wife, Angie, all of Springville; four grandchildren, Heather Lynn, and husband, Mark, Kelli Heil, and husband, Andrew, Alana Tincher, and Alyssa Tincher; three great grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn, Asher Lynn, and Charlotte Heil; two sisters, Donnetta Duncan and Linda Bergman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John L. Lee.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jay Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Avoca Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
