Joyce (Storm) Walker – Bedford

Joyce (Storm) Walker, 68, of Bedford, died at 2:58 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2017 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 4, 1948 in Princeton, KY, she was the daughter of Ernest Ralph and Elva (Cherry) Storm. She married Riley Walker on May 28, 1971 in Princeton, KY and he survives. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated with a RN Degree from Kentucky Baptist and Indiana University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration.
Survivors include; two daughters, Adair Walker Brent, of Bedford, Rachel Storm Landers and husband Alan, of Stuttgart, Germany, one son, Jonathan Lewis Walker and wife, Jennifer, of Springville, grandchildren, Aaron Storm, Corbin Walker Brent and Moriah Walker Brent, Brennon Blevins, Bruce Walker, Henry Armstrong, Ezra Walker Landers, Grace Landers, Eli Landers and Nora Landers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Lance Storm.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Bedford with Rev. Cliff Bunch and Pastor Nathan Sundt officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 6 pm on Sunday in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Joyce Walker Grandchildren College Scholarship Fund.

Helen Marie Cooper – Mitchell

Helen Marie Cooper, 69, of Mitchell, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 29, 1948, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Howard and Clara M. (Hanners) Tincher. She married Ronald Dean Cooper July 6, 1965, and he preceded her in death March 9, 2006. Helen retired from RCA with 35 years of service.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Bolling of Mitchell; granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson
Her parents; husband; and brothers, George Hanners and Clyde Hanners, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, September 18th, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation was chosen.

Wayne Alan Semerau – Daytona Beach Shores

Wayne Alan Semerau, 71, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, passed away at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the Florida Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 2, 1946, and was the son of George Walter Semerau and Lillian (Axberg) Semerau. He married Kathy Grissom on November 28, 1987 and she survives. He achieved his B.A. degree from Purdue University and his M.B.A. from Indiana University, and he worked as an Industrial Engineer for Otis Elevator for 41 years. He was instrumental in projects overseas in both Australia and Malaysia throughout his career.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Semerau, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida; four children, Kathy (Semerau) Baldwin, of Tennessee; Ryan Semerau, of Connecticut, Jason Cain and Ashley (Cain) Bridges, of Indiana, his mother, Lillian (Axberg) Semerau, of South Carolina; two brothers, George Paul Semerau and wife Jody Semerau, of California; and Jon Max Semerau and his wife Ellen Semerau, of South Carolina; 18 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Walter Semerau; maternal grandparents, Jon Edwin Axberg and Lillian (Young) Axberg; and paternal grandparents; Max Joseph Semerau and Erna (Pauli) Semerau.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service on Monday at the mortuary.
