Charles Ronnie Bridges, 77, of Bedford, died at 2:08 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at his residence.
Born July 3, 1940 in Bedford, he was the son of Charles and Beulah (Clendennon) Bridges. He married Edna Poll on November 15, 1958 and she passed away on September 18, 2010. Charles was a wire saw operator for Elliott Stone Company, retiring after 39 years.
Surviving are three sons, Charles R. Bridges of Mitchell, David Ray (Lori) Bridges of TN and Michael Sean (Alice) Bridges of Bedford; two daughters, Kim Bridges of Tx. and Amy Bridges of Bedford; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Bridges; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Larry Bridges, Harry Bridges and Frank Walker.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one son, Chris E. Bridges in 2013; three sisters, Joanne McGill, Linda Fisher and Galinda Burton.
Funeral service will be on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Entombment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
