Christina M. “Chris” Miller, 76, of Springville, died at 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born January 15, 1941, in Springville, she was the daughter of Raymond and Esther (Davis) Reynolds. She married Ron Miller on August 24, 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2014. She retired as a quality controller for Cook Medical Group. She was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church where she served on the hostess committee and was the former treasurer.
Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Holtsclaw and husband, David, Lisa Combs and husband, Charles, all of Springville; grandchildren, Stephanie Colclasure and husband, Ryan, of Terre Haute, Jennifer Holtsclaw, of Spencer, Kim Hillenburg and husband, Ryan, of Springville, and Nick Combs, of Springville; great grandchildren, Adelyn and Zak Colclasure, Austin and Zane Hillenburg; a brother, Layne Reynolds and wife, Julia, of Springville; a sister, Connie Jackson and husband, Steve, of Ellettsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Gerald and Roger Reynolds.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in memory of Christina to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.

Gary Michael Brewer – London, KY

Gary Michael Brewer, 68, of London, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.
Born March 18, 1949 in Laurel Co., KY, he was the son of Bernard and Juanita (Taylor) Brewer. He married Denise Patton. He later married Ellen James. He was a life-long truck driver and owner/operator of Brewer Trucking. He was last employed by Indiana Limestone.
Survivors include a son, Mike Brewer and wife, Rachel, of London, KY; three daughters, Karly Brewer, of Jasper, Kim Jones, of Bloomington and Amy Hendrickson, of London, KY; six grandchildren, Kennedy, Emilee, and Bree Morrow, Jordan Page, Ashley Jones, and Oden Brewer; two great grandchildren, Jaxton Page and Charleigh Jones; three sisters, Bev Clark and husband, Jim, of Bedford, Kathy Lloyd of Terre Haute, Carolyn Oliver and husband, Stacy, of SC; two brothers, Merle Brewer and wife, Brenda, Kirby Brewer and wife, Judy, all of London, KY; his best friend, Ronnie Lloyd, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and ex-wife, Ellen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dennis Parsley officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday, June 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
