Jimmy Hayes Sneed, Sr. – Cambellsburg
December 19, 1951 – June 6, 2017
Jimmy Hayes Sneed, Sr., 65, of Cambellsburg, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Born December 19, 1951, in Glasgow, Kentucky, he was the son of Malon and Mary Frances (Garrett) Sneed. He married Sharmaine Louise Houchin July 1, 1972, and she preceded him in death October 9, 2011. Jimmy retired from Kimball International.
Survivors include his sons, Blane Andrew Sneed of Campbellsburg, Jimmy Hayes Sneed, Jr., of Campbellsburg, foster daughters, Angela Froman of Orleans, Donna Kay Froman of Bedford; five grandchildren; siblings, Terrie Priest of Campbellsburg, Malon Carol Sneed of Mitchell, Gilbert Priest of Lanesville, Rusty Priest of Kentucky, Jim Priest of Kentucky
His father; mother and stepfather, Mary Frances and James Priest; and siblings, Brenda Kerr, Sherrie Laneheart, and Daryl Sneed, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Greg Strothers officiating.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Jonathon Markus Jones – Shoals
August 21, 2014 – June 8, 2017
Jonathon Markus Jones, 2, of Shoals, passed away at 7:16 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the IU Health Paoli Hospital.
He was born on August 21, 2014 at Jasper Memorial Hospital to Joseph and Jessica (Sheetz) Jones.
He is survived by one sister, Jasmine Jones, 8, and one brother Joseph Williams Jones, 5; maternal grandparents Mark and Mary Sheetz, of Loogootee and paternal grandparents Joseph and Aloha Jones, of Shoals and great grandmothers June Jones of Shoals and Sue Winegar, of Shoals.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Queen-Lee Chapel at the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes with burial in Springhill Cemetery. Pastor Mike Newland is officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
