L. Sue McMahon, 81, of Mitchell, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 1, 1935, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clarence Lovell “Buck” and Mary Hulda (Brooks) Rosenberger. Sue had been employed 23 years in food service and was a 1953 graduate of Mitchell High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Surviving: children, Shawna (Stewart) McMahon of California, Shannon (Dennis) Craft of Florida, Mark McMahon of Florida, Ian McMahon of Florida; grandchildren, Banks Nelson, Brooks (Aika) Nelson, and Savannah Craft; siblings, Ted (Pat) Rosenberger of Goshen Ohio, Ned Rosenberger of Winnetka, California, Jon (Jarita) Rosenberger of Bedford
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Watson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
