Judith Ann Reynolds – Mitchell

Judith Ann Reynolds, 74, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.
Born May 5, 1942, in Stonington, she was the daughter of Charles Everett and Alice Marie (Flinn) Taylor. She married Willard E. Reynolds August 22, 1958, and he preceded her in death December 2, 2009. Judith had been employed several years in the Mitchell High School cafeteria, and was a member of the Park Place Church of God in Bedford. Judith was a very loving person and enjoyed going to movies.
Survivors include her children, Perry (Teresa) Reynolds of Mitchell, Patricia Reynolds of Mitchell, Penny (Tony) Davis of Shoals, Philip (Jeanna) Reynolds of Fort Branch; grandchildren, Candi (Danny) Dersch, Ben (Jessica) Reynolds, Kim Reynolds, Casey (Kiersten) Davis, Megan (Rick Sims) Reynolds, Caleb Davis, Chelsea Erdman, Brayden Reynolds, Addison Reynolds, Connor Reynolds; great grandchildren, Kyanna and Draven Livingston, Jaxon Reynolds, Liliana and Josephine Davis, Eastyn Sims, Davon Walker, and Breanna and Delaney Dersch; siblings, Margaret Grace of Mitchell, Rose Grace of Mitchell, Frank Taylor of Jeffersonville, Lena “Cricket” Tanksley of Mitchell, Randy Taylor of Bloomington
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Betty Taylor, Paul Taylor, James Taylor, Charles Taylor, Marlene Trinkle, Robert Taylor, and Mike Taylor, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Jay Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Monday and from 12:30 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Emma Lucile “Lucy” Fletcher – Mitchell

Emma Lucille “Lucy” Fletcher, 92, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.
Born September 15, 1924, in Hopper, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Joseph Austin and Edith Irene (Herring) Coffman. She was first married to Richard Feighner and he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Robert Fletcher August 30, 1956, and he preceded her in death May 6, 1985. Lucy retired from the JayC Store in Bedford, and attended Woodville Baptist Church. Following retirement, she was a caregiver for several years in the Lawrence County area. During World War II, Lucy was a “Rosie the Riveter.”
Survivors include her children, Dixiana “Dixie” (Feighner) DeVault of Mitchell, Connie (Feighner) Folk of Bedford, Sheena (Feighner) Brown of Bedford, Mike (Tonda) Fletcher of Bedford, Donnie Fletcher of Mitchell, Greg Fletcher of Mitchell, Larry (Lynn) Fletcher of Mitchell; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; brother, Wendell Coffman of Hopper, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, and cousins
Her parents; husband; son, Tim Fletcher; and siblings, Barbara Hays and Boyd Coffman, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Woodville Baptist Church with Reverend Glenn Hamer and Reverend Ron Allender officiating. Burial will be in Bass Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Monday at the church.
Honorary Casketbearers: Tom N. Chapman, Carter Chapman, Wendell Coffman, Randy Coffman, Charles Hays, and Terry Hays. Casketbearers: Mike Fletcher, Donnie Fletcher, Greg Fletcher, Larry Fletcher, Brian Chapman, and Josh Fletcher.
Mary Jeanette (Holt) Green – Westfield
Mary Jeanette (Holt) Green, 88, formerly of Bedford, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.
Born October 22, 1928, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Walter E. and Ruth (Martin) Holt. She married Gerald E. Green December 10, 1945, and he preceded her in death November 4, 2000. Mary had been employed at Naval Aeronautics in Indianapolis. She enjoyed quilting and word searches.
Survivors include her son, Gerald W. (Cindy) Green of Westfield; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Smallwood of Tennessee
Her parents; husband; and sons, Dale E. and Ralph W. Green, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date at White River Baptist Cemetery.
