Louella May Meadows – Bedford
January 27, 1929 – March 6, 2017
Louella May Meadows, 88, of Bedford, died at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born January 27, 1929 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Clifford Joe and Mable (Harden) Pritchett. She married Robert Meadows on March 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2007. She retired after forty years of service as a foreman supervisor at RCA. She attended Gulletts Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Earl Pritchett and wife, Janice, of Judah; two sisters, Grace McDonald of Bedford and Joann McCain and husband, Bob, of Florida; a sister-in- law, Sylvia Pritchett, of Judah; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Richard and Charles Pritchett; a brother-in- law, Sam McDonald and a great nephew, Cole Winnefeld.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Billy Brim officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
