Betty Ann Tanksley – Mitchell
Betty Ann Tanksley, 90, of Mitchell, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 27, 1926, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Danner and Minnie (Wood) Brooks. She married Raymond Tanksley July 27, 1945. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1944.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Tanksley of Mitchell; children, Brooks (Lynne) Tanksley of New Palestine and Raymona Tanksley of Mitchell; grandson, Brad (Jennifer) Tanksley; great grandchildren, Brendan Tanksley and Brooke Tanksley; sister, Carmina Tuksal of Michigan
Her parents and siblings, William Thomas Brooks, Gene Brooks, Zack Danner Brooks, Jon Brooks, Mary Rosenberger, and Charlene Hawk, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Reggie Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mark Edward Key – Bedford
Mark Edward Key, 55, of Bedford, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, at the home of his mother.
Born November 23, 1961, in Bedford, he was the son of Roy Key and Sandra (Shirley)
Key Bridwell. Mark was a farmer and an employee of Lawrence County Farm Supply. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Bridwell of Bedford; sister, Christie (George) Jenkins of Bedford; nieces, Brooke (Chad) Guthrie of Bedford; Sheila Jenkins of Louisville; nephew, Christopher Jenkins of Louisville
His father and stepfather, Mike Bridwell, preceded him in death.
Honoring his wishes, Reverend Richard Clayton officiated at the private family graveside service on Thursday, January 12, at Lawrenceport Cemetery.
