Carolyn Sue Stewart – Bedford

Carolyn Sue Stewart, 81, of Bedford, died at 3:40 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home.
Born January 11, 1935 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William T. and Eulah May (Tucker) Ritchison. Sue married William G. Stewart on September 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Gullets Creek Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Landstrom and husband Bud of Bedford, Kimberly Ross of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Randy Stewart of Dugger; ten grandchildren, Amy Birdsong and husband John of Carlisle, Nikki Childers of Mitchell, Tygr Northup and husband Ace of Mitchell, Natalie Cole of Colorado Springs, CO, Amber Keen and husband Andrew, Sunshine Landstrom, Zach Landstrom and wife Katie all of Bedford, Josh Landstrom and wife Melissa of Laurel, Tana Stewart of New York, and Chancy Stewart of Bedford; twenty great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one son, Thomas Gordon Stewart; one granddaughter, Misty Dawn Landstrom; one grandson, Matthew Denver Stewart; and two brothers, Joseph William Ritchison and Donnie Gene Ritchison.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hopkins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary; and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday.

Louise E. Dunlap – Bedford

Louise E. Dunlap, 99, of Bedford, died at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at White River Lodge.
Born November 20, 1917, she was the daughter of George and Laura (Tinkle) Allegree. She married Billy Dunlap on January 1, 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1969. She retired as an attendant from Mill’s Laundry in Bedford. She was a member of the Dive Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Dunlap and wife, Marie, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Dichol Parlow and husband, Jonathan, Stacie Bennett, Aimee Dunlap, Bryce Bennett and wife, Marci; five great grandchildren, Seylor, Cage and Amelia Partlow, Brynlea and Kaedyn Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and long-time companion, Ralph Isom; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Joe McAdams officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20th and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, December 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Dive Christian Church Youth Group.

Bettina Rose Randolph – Mitchell

Bettina Rose Randolph, 69, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born December 9, 1947, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Edward Russell and Alice Mae (Stevens) Jaggers. She married Charles E. Randolph April 21, 1967. Bettina had been employed at Dana Corporation and was a professional dry cleaner.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Randolph of Mitchell; daughter, Jodi Randolph of Bedford; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Sondra K. Powers of New Orleans, Louisiana; brother, Lawrence E. Jaggers of Mitchell; several nieces and nephews
Her parents; children, Darren Randolph, Jason Wyatt Randolph, and Dena LeKay Randolph; and brother Stephen D. Jaggers, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Pastor Nathan King officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral chapel.
