Mark K. Judah – Springville
November 26, 1944 – December 15, 2016
Mark K. Judah, 72, of Springville, died at 12:55 on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and pastor.
Born November 26, 1944 in New Albany, IN, he was the son of Ray O. and Mary Lucille (Beavin) Judah. He married Vicky (Faris) Clifton on September 22, 2001 and she survives. He retired after 32 years from General Motors as a skilled tradesman. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 136, as a union rep and a past officer, a member of the Elks Club in Seminole, FL, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a Charter member of Judah Heritage Group, where he was still very active, a member of Lawrence County Community Foundation, a board member of Holiday Village Association in Seminole, FL. Mark enjoyed fishing and camping, Nascar racing, bowling, and was an enthusiast of knives and shooting firearms.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky Judah of Springville, one daughter, Mecca Jones and husband, Jeff of Springville, one son, Shannon Judah of Bedford, stepchildren, Jonetta Orender and husband, Tim of Bedford, Julie Laughner and husband, Scott of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Kristen Cain, Caitlin Jones, Allison Jones, step grandchildren, Joby Turner, Jesse Turner and Jalen Turner and wife, Lori, Peyton and Parker Laughner, great grandchildren, Darrian Cain, Gavin Cain and Jack Turner and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastors Mark Hafenbriedl and J.D. Sink officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Judah Heritage Foundation, the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services or Calvary Baptist Church.

Norman Claude Morrison – Oolitic
July 12, 1921 – December 9, 2016
Norman C. Morrison, 95, of Oolitic passed away Friday.
Born July 12, 1921, in Bedford, he was the son of Howard Edward and Avah L. (Franklin) Morrison, and brother of the late Warren F. Morrison, late Curtis D. Morrison, and Harold (Butts) Morrison. He resided most of his life in Oolitic where he attended Oolitic High School. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington and because an accountant at Sarkes Tarzian of Bloomington from where he retired. Survivors include nephews Byron Morrison, Paul Morrison, Delmon Morrison and niece Maryann Pusz of Illinois.
There will be no services. Burial will be private. Family and friends may express condolences
