Georgia Roberts – Elizabethtown, IN

Georgia Roberts, 81, of Elizabethtown, IN, formerly of Bedford, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus, IN.
Born September 10, 1935 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of John and Nellie (Carter) Robbins. She married Loren Roberts on May 21, 1955 and he preceded her in death. She retired from RCA after twenty-nine years of service and then worked in NLCS cafeterias for fourteen years. She attended Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Wilson, of Elizabethtown, IN; a son, Brent Roberts and wife, Trina, of Sullivan, IN; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Robbins and wife, Janet, of Bloomington and John Robbins and wife, Colleen, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Glen, Harold, Wayne, Lloyd and Carl Robbins; two sisters, Lucille Toborg and Louise Breedlove, and a son-in- law, Gerald Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Dennis Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 21 st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Tommy Hubbard – Bedford

Tommy Hubbard, 63, of Bedford, died Monday morning at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born on October 17, 1953, he was the son of Vaughn and Janet Nell (Carter) Hubbard. He was an avid I.U. Hoosiers and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Survivors include his beloved companion, Linda Wathen, of Bloomington; his cousin, Suzie Terry and husband, Mike, of Odessa, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 28th at the Green Hill Cemetery with John Lee officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from Noon until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, October 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
