Phillip Tolliver – Bedford

Phillip Andrew Tolliver, 66, of Springville, died at 7:51 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 at his residence.
Born September 7, 1949, in Lansing, MI, he was the son of Wayne and Edith Helen (Stines) Tolliver.
He worked at RCA in Bloomington for twenty-seven years. He worked as an assembler at Cook, Inc. at the Ellettsville-West plant for twenty years.
He married Rebecca McGlothlin on March 9, 1968 and she survives. He attended the Harrodsburg Assembly of God.
Phil was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather. He loved playing horse shoes, card games, playing the lottery, and gospel music. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca, of Springville; his parents, Wayne and Edith Tolliver, of Bedford; a son, Phillip Tolliver, Jr. and wife, Whitney, of Bedford; a daughter, Penny Lawton and husband, Mike, of Rio Rancho, NM; three grandchildren, Chad Lawton, Andrea Tolliver and Logan Tolliver; a great grandchild, Addaleigh Rose Tolliver; three brothers, Larry Tolliver and wife, Carol, of Harrodsburg, Dustin Tolliver and wife, Mary, and Douglas Tolliver and wife, Susan, all of Bedford; two sisters, Linda Martin and husband, Larry, of Bedford and Pamela Ritter and husband, Steve, of Brownstown.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mike Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
