Michael Varonne Pottorff – Bedford
Michael Varonne Pottorff, 59, of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, March 9,
2016, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born February 25, 1957, in Salem, he was the son of Meredith and Bonnie (Mosson) Pottorff. Michael was employed at Bedford Recycling.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Payton of Mitchell; sons, Travis Tharp of Bedford, Caleb Tharp of Bedford; mother, Bonnie Hembree of Paoli; father, Meredith Pottorff of Shoals; sister, Kelly Jones of Paoli; brothers, Tim Pottorff of Shoals, Jeff Pottorff of Shoals; 2 grandchildren
Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Larry Downs officiating. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
