Rev. Paul Dean Keys
Rev. Paul Dean Keys, 76, of Shoals, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Memorial Hospital & Healthcare Center in Jasper.
Born on August 27, 1939 in Jasper County, Illinois he was the son of Lorance and Bertha (Walters) Keys. He married Norma Perishe on June 5, 1959 in Casey, Illinois
Paul graduated from Oblong High School and furthered his education at Frankfort Pilgrim College in Frankfort, Indiana. He and his wife Norma served Wesleyan congregations throughout Indiana, including pastorates in Wheatland, Medora, Linton and Crystal Community Church. He currently attended the Weisbach Community Church in Shoals.
Survivors include his mother, Bertha Keys of Oblong, Illinois; wife Norma Keys of Shoals; two daughters, Pauletta and husband Vaughn Montgomery, of Shoals; Brenda and husband Tracy Moore, of Loogootee; son Bruce and wife Brenda Keys, of Wheatland; eight grandchildren, Denise Sanders, Darrell Montgomery, Jeanette Estes, Jennifer Montgomery, Jeffrey Keys, Alicia Moore, James Keys and Chester Keys, both of Willow Hill, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and brother Charles Key in infancy.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals and the service will be at 2 .m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Wilma Jean Skeen – Orleans
Wilma Jean Skeen, 81, Orleans, passed away Monday morning, January 18, 2016, at her residence.
Born December 11, 1934, in Hancock County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Luther and Lillie (Lawson) Mitchell. She married Jimmy Franklin Skeen June 19, 1954. Wilma had been a bookkeeper at Middleton Motors and Chase Chevrolet, and most recently worked at Sam’s Club. She was a member of the Orleans Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Skeen, Orleans; children, Cynthia Jane (Greg) Terry, Bedford; Jimmy Dean (Sherry) Skeen, Greenwood; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Destiny) Skeen, Bedford; Jesse Skeen, Orleans; Ashley Willard, Evansville; great grandchildren, Madden, Lexington, and Bristol; sister, Pauline Sheeks, Greenwood; brother, Hugh Paul Mitchell, Bedford; special family member, Dale (Denise) Maple, Bedford
Her parents and brother, William Jack Mitchell, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery.
