Marjorie A. Shedd, 86, of Bloomington, died at 5:22 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Autumn Hills Alzheimer’s Special Care Facility, Bloomington.
Born December 6, 1928, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Watson J. and Irene Ethel (Bender) Lunn.
She married Richard G. Shedd in June , 1952 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1984.
Marjorie was a graduate of the University of Toledo and a member of Pi Beta Phi. She had lived in Toledo, OH, as well as Wabash, IN, Brazil, IN and Bedford, where she had worked as a bank auditor for Citizens National Bank. She was also a member of First Methodist Church, Bedford.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Shedd (husband Douglas Halliday), Minneapolis, MN and Martha Louise Shedd (companion J Thomas Forbes), Bloomington; two sons, Andrew Richard (wife Elsa) Shedd, San Diego, CA and David George Shedd, Toronto, Canada; and one grandson, Robert “Robbie” (wife Bobbie) Shedd, San Diego, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, William J. Lunn.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jenifer Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park, Toledo, OH.
Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be considered to I. U. Foundation, IN Alzheimer’s Disease Center, P.O. Box 7072, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7072, in memory of Marjorie A. Shedd.
