Mary Theresa Haungs, 86, of Arlington, VA, died Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Sunrise Assisted Living, Arlington.
Born February 19, 1929, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Walsh) Howley.
She married Andrew L. Haungs on October 20, 1962; he died May 31, 2014.
She was of the Roman Catholic faith, having been affiliated with St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church, Niles, IL, as well as St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Chicago. She had worked as a secretary for Kraft General Foods, Chicago.
Surviving are two sons, Michael J. Haungs, Arlington, VA and John (Patricia) Haungs, Manlius, NY; and three grandchildren, David, Daniel and Michael Haungs.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Bedford.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
