Clifford W. Duncan, of Mitchell, passed away at 11:33 p.m. Monday, May 4, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Robert Meadows – Bedford
Robert Meadows, 83, of Bedford, died Monday, May 04, 2015 at Rosewalk Village of Indianapolis.
Born October 17, 1931 in Needmore, IN, he was the son of Eithel and Ada (Phillips) Meadows. He married Joyce Fry on May 27, 1956 and she survives. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Avoca Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of Bedford; a son, Danny Joe Meadows and wife, Susan, of Cape Coral, FL; two daughters, Cindy Schweighert and husband, Dale, of Champaign, IL and Lynne Johnson and husband, Mike, of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a half-sister, Becky Battson and husband, Dennis, of Brownsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Oren Meadows.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, May 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Ralph Purkhiser officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion and D.A.V. Chapter 2. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Monday, May 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.
