Robert E. Neely – Mitchell
Robert E. Neely, 76, of Mitchell, died at 4:05 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born August 6, 1938 in Springville, he was the son of Walter and Della (Greer) Neely. He married Judith Hutton on September 1, 1962 and she survives. He retired from General Motors in Bedford and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 440.
Survivors include his wife, Judith, of Mitchell; two sons, Bryan Neely and wife, Sherry of Knox, IN and Mike Neely and wife, Annette, of Mitchell; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Neely and wife, Aiko, of Gulf Shores, AL and Roger Neely and wife, Janice, of Oolitic; a sister, Paulette Gilbert and husband, Bill, of Springville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a son, Mark Neely.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Wendell Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West where military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion and D.A.V. Chapter 2. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, February 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

William F. Kern, 95, of Bedford, died at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 23rd at Garden Villa.
